W O W ! I can't believe how long it's been since I have even viewed myown site !   I have been working excessively hard recently at the OV. Getting as much work done as I can before bringing a boom onto the property to reach the highest points of the gables.   So I do apologize for not updating my site but the wait will be worth it ! :)

The Boom Lift is here and I have been using it for almost 2 weeks now.   The pressure is on since the rental is only for a month. Here
is a picture of "The New Toy" .... as it has been given that name !

So you can see where all of my time has been going. :)   I promise I will make more updates .... the night I come home from the job and don't collapse from heat exhaustion !! LOL   Thanks for being patient.

We had a little rain last night and this morning is cloudy so I took some time to review all of my pictures from the last month.   I renamed all of the picture files and uploaded them to my site storage space.   Believe me, that is the hardest part of updating my website. So look forward to some changes coming soon. After reviewing and renaming those pictures, I have taken a whole series of more pictures up to July 9th.   Those pictures are now organized and renamed so I am currently working on making the actual updates 7/14/07.

I will spend this week going through any pictures I can find of my work that I did while I lived on St. Thomas, USVI. There are many examples of some intricate artwork that I completed.   I do match veins when doing marble work so you will be impressed by these pictures.

I have made some progress in posting the St. Thomas pics. I have to add some more text to one of the jobs.   Status is still the same as of 7/4/08
UPDATE After That

As I go through my pictures I will also be collecting pictures I
have taken of my hobby. Yes I found the perfect hobby for an obsessive compulsive perfectionist. Building DOLLHOUSES. I am not even kidding. You are going to love them.

I found these pictures and I still have to scan them into the computer.   Scanning these pictures will start next week. Due to a change in plans, other tile and marble work has been scanned and pages were added to the site on 4/4/07.   More is to follow. As of 7/4/08 the status here also remains the same.

My Birthday is coming

did my 2008 birthday ! !
Nice weather and we start moving current work projects at the O V out of doors. The second and third floor staircases and landings should be painted sometime soon so you can expect to see some pictures of that coming up as well. Not to show off the paint, but to show the taping and spackle work I did to get to the point of being ready to paint. There is no further discussion here, due to a product failure used in the taping
process.

SO Let's jump down the page a little to "Coming in 2008"

The next pages to be added will be the before pictures of projects that will be worked on outdoors at the Old Victorian House
" The O. V. " as it has become known as ... :)   A few of these pics
are up now.

Here in NJ we have had some extremely nasty weather with no
chance of working outdoors.   My basement took on water and
it took me a few days to get the matter under control. Never a
dull moment !   So here it is the 18th of April and I have not been
on the job since Friday, the 13th.

Now it is Tuesday, April 24th.   I have had a few great days outside
as far as the weather is concerned.   There was an issue with the
bucket truck overheating because the fan belt broke due to a bearing in a pully assembly seizing up. When the engine is not running the batteries for controlling the bucket motion drain quickly.   With that
repaired, I am continuing along and pictures will be taken today. I
may even get them posted for Thursday.

I will not be posting pictures Wednesday since it is my Wedding anniversary ! 9 years.

CHANGES ABOUT TO BE MADE

Currently I am finished up with the outside work at the O V.   In the past two weeks I have been organizing the pictures from this summer.   With the weather much so to our advantage, summer and the outside work went
right through until the beginning of October !!   In fact as of today 10/23/07
the painter has just finished up painting and detailing the outside of the house.   So here is a sneak peek of the house in tinted primer.   I will keep updating the picture on each of the pages in my site during the week.

   A Long time coming but well worth the wait !!!

A SNEAK PEEK - A Picture from one of my St. Thomas Jobs

And YET Another Sneak Peek at my hobby .... Building Doll Houses

And YES ! I not only build dollhouses from kits; I design them, draw them to scale and I even pre-built this one out of cardboard to test my design. This would be my dream house. A Spanish
hasienda with terra cotta tile roof, stucco and stone exterior finish
as well as lots of glass and granite finished floors with circulating hot water heat under the tiles. All woodwork red mahogany.

COMING IN 2008 ...... finally

Right now I am adding the O. V. work that I am currently
doing on the foundation. The pictures are all in order and uploaded to my site so it's just a matter of doing it.
The page will be called The O. V. Foundation.

I also did a deck this year and I will be adding that page soon.

I painted the wicker furniture at the O. V. but I can't seem to locate the pictures.

Another change I need to make is to add a different Home Page picture layout. The collage effect does not show the pictures in a large enough scale to show any of the important detail.
